Next stop Ocean City where all your dreams come true.. or not. {Our Journey Series) pt 4

So firstly I want to apologize for not posting this last Friday.. I hit an early Spring cleaning mode and totally missed it! Don't hate :)

Ocean City day came and boy was I excited. I've been looking forward to this day all week and tried my hardest not to picture him kissing me passionately  in the wide open spaces of the beach in front of the water... Not going there..

So they came and we went three hours in the car with the most attractive guy I've ever met and one of my best friends.

The things we talked about in the car I have no remembrance of  but the one thing that stayed close to me to this day was how thoughtful and generous Leon was and still is.. When we got to the toll Leon not only gave him three dollars for our vehicle but also three dollars for the vehicle behind us.. I remember saying at the moment (in my head of course) I so want to marry this guy!

We finally arrived and grabbed a bite to eat at the dough roller.. a.k.a One of the best pizza places ever!
After that we headed to the beach. For the first ten minutes we all just laid in the sand and enjoyed ourselves before getting all wet. As we were all laying there Leon happened to look over at me saying

"Heather, I don't mean for this to sounds awkward but you have great legs!"

yep, and shortly after that a laughing spell between all of us took place!  After enjoying the nice weather Leon wanted to get in the water.. I love the ocean however, swimming  in the ocean is not something I fancy.. I will speak for myself when I say that swimming in the ocean to me is like swimming in sewage water uck! But when Leon asked me to swim with him I couldn't say no.. I mean what girl doesn't secretly dream about swimming in the poo big blue ocean with a super attractive guy?

Ashley didn't want to swim so it was just Leon and I.. As we were slowly entering the water Leon just Looked at me with the cutest smile ever and said.

"So you don't have to answer this if you don't want to but I'm curious to what you are looking for in a future husband?"

I wanted so badly to say "I'm looking at him!" But thought that maybe I  was going  a bit far so I answered.

"Well, I'm desiring a man after God's own heart. Who would put God before himself and me and The Lord told me specifically that my future husband would be older than me and also a Pastor/Evangelist. What about you?"

He told me that He was looking for a woman who was so lost in Jesus that He would need to seek Him in order to find her. He also told me he was looking for a Virtuous woman.

We had so much fun in the ocean and I could so tell he wanted to hold my hand. We were in the ocean for three hours just asking each other questions that would normally be asked on a first date or something.. We went through pet peeves, God, where we saw ourselves in ten years, hobbies and just random things and just hearing his every answer and just feeling the love of Jesus through him instantly I felt love towards him. I've never met a man so on fire and so in love with Jesus.

It was there in the ocean when he was trying to catch and befriend  the baby crab that I realized I actually loved him.. I really did.

After we came back Leon ran to the car to get all of our bags so we could change and walk the boardwalk.. While he was gone Ashley looked at me and said.

"Soooo what do you think of my brother? He's pretty cute, huh?"

Yep, I guess I'm easy to read because his sister read me like a book in three hours.. I was madly in love with her brother and she knew it.
She told me that Leon is starting to be really curious about me and how he calls me Fruit lady to all of his friends because I bare much Spiritual fruit..

(Btw, I find it hilarious that both Leon and I had secret nick names for each other! He secretly called me Fruit Lady to all of his buds which could seriously be taken the wrong way!! And my secret nick name for him was Preacher man because he is like a walking Bible.)

When Leon came back we went to the boardwalk to enjoy the best boardwalk fries ever along with ice cream. mmmm Perfection! It was so amazing walking next to the man that I could totally see myself marrying.. Plus I just knew by now he liked me! There was just no going around it.

After coming home I felt so shaky from excitement and possibly butterflies.. I had no idea what was coming next but I was excited to see. I mean why would he ask me all these questions, act liked he wanted to hold my hand, and tell me I had great legs if he didn't have the hots for me??

That night he texted me saying how happy he was to spend the day getting to know me better and how he's looking forward to seeing me Sunday.

Sunday came and I just knew that this time things would be different. He was going to talk to me more follow me every where I went like a love puppy and maybe even ask me out on a real date!

I couldn't have been more wrong.. It was exactly the same as any Sundays no, actually worse. He showed up late and didn't even come say high to me but instead walked right passed me as if he didn't see me.. I wasn't sure if I was crushing on a jerk or someone who had absolutely no clue! I was so confused.

Come back next Friday to read
 part five.

To a Beautiful pregnant mama.

First off  where is the water you pregnant mamas are drinking?  I wanna drink haha! These last few weeks I've had the pleasure of finding out many of my friends are pregnant Bloggers and non bloggers and   one of my very good friends that I met in my neighborhood.  plus my sister's due with my niece in April. So to celebrate I thought I would share with you a post that I had written a while ago on my old blog when my dear friend Sarah was just about to give birth to her precious girl Selah.

So to all of you pregnant mamas. This one's for you!! And for all you mamas and non mamas who have strongly caught the baby fever... Lets talk!

If I were having coffee with you today, I would give you this HUGE awkward hug that none Pregers and Pregers are known to give each other. I'd ask you "How are you doing and feeling"  I'd also ask you if you had any amazing sonogram pictures to show me.. I'd even treat you to some Decaf coffee with a pastry. :)

Evelynne's Sonogram picture.
If I were having coffee with you, I'd tell you how beautiful you looked even if you were wearing sweats. Because that new momma glow looks radiant on you!

I would tell you how excited I am about your pregnancy and how I've been praying for you. And that I can't wait to see what God has planned for this precious life that He's created inside you!
Me at 39 weeks
I would ask how you were feeling knowing that your day is coming up real soon? Sooner than you even realize. The day you will be holding this little life that you have carried. It's so exciting!

I would ask you if you've had any crazy dreams yet? And than I would fill you in and tell you about my crazy dreams when I was pregnant. The crazy dream when my Grandmother was Pregnant, and the dream of when Panera Bread wouldn't give me my food because they said it wasn't mine.. When I knew it was!!.. (That dream even made me wake up mad!) It's so funny what pregnancy does to you.

If I were having coffee with you, I would tell you not to worry about anything. Sometimes it's hard to not be afraid or to worry when you have a little life that you love and adore to protect.

There's so many things the enemy tries to fill our heads with just so that we will live in fear. But I will remind you that perfect love casts out fear and that Jesus gave us that perfect love when He died on the cross for us! So that we will be made whole. I would tell you that God has major plans for this youngster of yours and don't let the enemy tell you otherwise.

I would tell you that your baby is created to live and declare the works of The Lord. And that your little blessing is beautifully and wonderfully made with nothing missing and nothing lacking.

I would tell you that Jesus is with you every  step of the way and that there is nothing to be feared.

I would tell you to brace yourself because once you hold your sweet child in your arms. Your life will never be the same!

                                                                         Evelynne doesn't like:

Being told "no"

time outs. Yes, we started the time outs.

A majority of veggies (Which is why I've been giving her veggie juice)

Nap time.
Eating: I started weening her on Monday.. So far so good!
She pretty much eats everything we do in smaller forms. She has been a little picky lately but never says no to cheese, chicken, fruit, yogurt and Annies fruitsnacks!

Daddy:

Leon has been working so much recently and it has been so hard for him and Evie to have time together. I know so many think "Well, he needs to make time". But you know what? My husband is a police officer and sometimes he has to work. Right now him and our daughter have two very different schedules and some days they barely get to see each other which is sad but not his fault.   Any who, It's been hard for them lately but hopefully on his next day off him and Evie will get to have some Father daughter time while I get some mama alone time!
Mama:

Excited for things to come. I'm excited for Spring, My mommy group, going Spring shopping with my little love and also just going on walks every day again. Last weekend was in the 60's and it was amazing and has given this mama hope.. Now it's snowing..

                                                                                   What I'm looking forward to:
I told you I was looking forward to Spring right?? haha. I REALLY want to get a family portrait done with my family soon.. We haven't had one done professionally yet.. I know *gasp. It's embarrassing really considering how much I love photography. But with Leon's schedule it makes it so hard to plan.. However, coming Spring I so want to get one done!

Events that took place last month.

Leon and I are really going to have to start watching what we do in front of Evelynne. Last week being the perfect example. Leon and I were cleaning our room and Leon bent over to get something so I took advantage of the opportunity and gave him a good smack and we had our laughs. A little bit later when Leon bent over a second time guess what little missy did?? Yep, you guessed it! She walked over and gave Leon a nice little smack and then started laughing! Leon and I couldn't help but laugh! It was the funniest thing she has ever done but seriously, I don't want her doing it ever again.. Can you imagine if she did that to a stranger?? Awkward haha......

She is now in a big girl car seat!! I think Leon and I love it just as much as she does. She can see us and it's so much easier to hand her things and keep her occupied in her not wanting to sit days.

Last Monday my Friend and I took our girls to baby gym for the first time and we were amazed by how great it was! The girls loved it and so did we and considering there's a starbucks right next to it we were speechless from excitement!More pics to come.

Valentines day week was so much fun. Lots of cookie making.
Last Saturday Mama Riley and I took Evie to  the furniture store to spice up our home.. We are doing a total makeover to our home and it's gonna look amazing when it's finished!  Afterwards we took Evie to Petsmart to see the fish and other animals. Honestly, I wasn't surprised when she showed much more interest in the rats and little dragons than anything else.. yep, she's a tomboy in the making.

We are starting to do more crafts and we both enjoy it so much!! It's much easier to do it when Evie has her older friend Emma over. She loves doing things the way Emma does it and thankfully it doesn't involve putting paint in your mouth which is what Evie likes to do when no ones watching.

Dearest Evelynne.
Happy 15 Months sweet girl.. Your name means "A beautiful breath of life" and that's exactly what you have given us these past 15 months. You are brave, strong, energetic and loving and you are such a wonderful girl.
I'm so excited to see what the future will bring! Love you mu Espresso bean!

The Very Random Link up. What a day in your life looks like.

Hey lovelies!! Welcome to the Very Random Link up!! Can you believe this is the last Tuesday of February?
I would say I'm in disbelief but I'm way to excited! First comes March and then comes April and then comes one happy girl who's been hibernating all winter because of the cold! Seriously guys, I'm not one to complain. I always try to see things have full but this winter has been awful and the coldest it's ever been in like a million years! And maybe I could have enjoyed it much better if I was more prepared for winter but I wasn't.. I know next time!

Any who lets get back to the link up shall we?

The very random Link up is not your ordinary link up. We will be doing topics different months.
Example: A vlogging month, about me month, and trying new recipes month.

One of my most favorite things about blogging is the relationships that come with it. the relationships that start out as a fellow blogger and turns into  a friend or even  a sister.

That is what these two ladies above have become in the last year. We've started out as fellow bloggers, to friends, to sisters and it is just so so amazing how God could use such a thing as blogging to bring us together. and we want that same relationship with you. That's why Sarah and I decided to start this fun random link up is because we wanted to find fun ways to get to know you and meet more of you! Will you join our very random community?

Each Month Sarah and I will pick a topic. It may be a vlogging month, a month of encouraging posts. anything. Some months we'll ask the questions and other months we just want to hear your thoughts and your heart. Have a topic or question  idea?  We'd love to hear it!

Today's question is:
What does a day in your life look like?
<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>><><><><>><>

4:00AM) I get up, Brew my coffee and eat my favorite meal of the day. After that I read my bible, my devotionals and journal while listening to worship music.

5:30Am) I usually work on my Ebook along with catching up on blogging and scheduling blogs ahead of time.

6:30-7:00 Am)I usually start to hear little noises from my little love who's ready to get up and start her day. I usually let her chill for a bit before giving her breakfast because sometimes she needs time alone to wake up and during that time I usually read her a Psalm.

7:30 Am) After Breakfast Evelynne usually plays with her toys and watches Mickey mouse or Barney. If it were warmer out we'd do our walks around this time too!

This would also be the time my tired man in uniform comes home from work. I'll make his breakfast and he goes to bed.

8:00Am) If Evelynne has a morning nap this is around the time she has it. And if she does this is the time when I usually read some blogs and drink my second cup of coffee.

9:00Am) Evelynne should be up and she usually has her first snacks. After that we play and usually we're having a play date at this time with some friends.

11:00Am) Because both Evie and I wake up so early we usually eat on the earlier end so this is lunch time.

12-1:00 Pm) Evelynne goes down for her afternoon nap while I work on my future Etsy Business and house cleaning if need be.

2-2:30Pm) Evie should be up and ready for her second snack. For snack time she usually gets anything from fruit, smoothies, and little finger foods. If I'm not done with house chores I usually let her watch more TV so I can finish up. I am so incredible guilty of letting Evie watch to much TV during the winter. Because we can't really go outside to play with it being so cold it's really all we can do right now.. Plus it's Educational!

3:00Pm) If we do some music this is the time we usually do it and sometimes we do it early in the morning to with play time. I turn some worship music on and we dance around the house like Disney Princess' haha! Also sometimes I'll try to play some guitar.

4:00Pm) This is the time I usually  start dinner. My goal is to have dinner done at 5:00pm.

5:00pm) If there's no complications dinner should be ready. During this time of year we usually have lots of soups. Sometimes Leon eats with us and sometimes he doesn't. It really depends on what time he wakes up.

6:00Pm) Right now usually the dishes are done from dinner and Evie and I are in chill mode. I bath her and we play for a bit and because she'll actually chill for a bit I usually watch "Your baby can read" with her and after that we watch some Lindsey Stirling on youtube.

7-7:30pm) Evelynne is usually ready for bed at this time.. If Leon's up he'll put her to bed. Sometimes she refuses and other times she just lays down with a smile and I definitely prefer those!

8:00Pm) At this time it is the only husband and wife time we get.. and sometimes we don't even get this. So we usually just lay in bed together and snuggle and just appreciate each others company.

8:30-9:00Pm) I say goodbye to my dear hubby and I go to bed.

Note: This isn't my everyday schedule of course. Some days it's jammy days, other days it's cleaning days and sometimes I just have off days. But it's my usual schedule.

What do your days normally look like?

Month topic.
March 4th 60.
For the month of March we are doing a topic called 60. Where we  do a vlogging game where we ask 60 questions in 60 seconds and you have to answer as much as possible!  Are you up for the challenge?
